FAQ

Q) Is CCCC licensed?

A) Yes, we are licensed and inspected by the State of Arizona Department of Health Services.

Q) How long has the school been operating?

A) We have been in continuous operation since 1982. In 2008 we moved to our current facility adjoining our original location and are now nestled in a shaded residential area on the campus of the Biltmore Preparatory Academy which is a public school operated by the Creighton School District.

Q) What kind of training do the teachers have?

A) Some of our teachers have degrees, while others have many years of early childhood teaching experience.  Each teacher is required to have 12 hours of continuing educational training per year--many exceed that requirement. Our kindergarten teacher is state-certified and completes 5 credit hours of post graduate classes every 5 years. We are all CPR and First Aid certified.

Q) How long have the teachers been at CCCC? What is the turnover rate?

A) We have a combined total of over 125 years of experience working together at Covenant Child Care Center!  Our turnover rate is minimal, giving our students the stability they need to flourish.

There is no requirement of religious affiliation. Admission and all services are provided regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin.

Q) What can I expect my child to learn while in your care?
A) Our staff will provide your child with a stimulating curriculum developed to maximize his/her full learning potential but in an environment relaxed enough to allow self discovery and time to still enjoy "being a child".

Q) Are there any enhanced learning opportunities?

A) We want our children to realize the maximum benefit from their time spent with us.  We have added a music program to our curriculum as well as an optional gymnastics class.  Spanish language skills are also offered to children two year old and up. Visit the "Parents Info" page for a list of other regular scheduled school activities held throughout the year.

Q) Are lunch and snacks provided?
A) Snacks are provided at no additional charge. Lunches may be brought from home or purchased here. We have an arrangement with the Creighton School Dist. which allows us to provide nutritious lunches at minimal cost.
