About Us

In 1982, Squaw Peak Covenant Church opened Covenant Child Care Center as a ministry to the
surrounding community. CCCC continues today offering quality Christian child care, preschool and kindergarten programs for Valley children in a safe and loving atmosphere.

Covenant Child Care Center is a non-profit Arizona corporation and, after more than 30 years of continuous operation, continues to serve the community from its location on the campus of Biltmore Preparatory Academy, a Creighton School District. school immediately adjacent to CCCC's original location.

The Center offers a rich learning environment for your child with regular weekly offerings including:
The Story Lady– book reading time the children love.
Bible Time– an easily understood Bible lesson and activity.
Spanish Lessons– taught by Biltmore Prep's kindergarten Spanish Immersion teacher.
Melody Maker's– a themed music program supporting lessons on safety, manners, etc.
Gymnastic Class– an optional, top-rated gymnastics program taught by Denise Decker.
Creative Movement Class– focusing on developing emotional expression and physical coordination.
Mini Kickers Soccer– an optional program that teaches soccer skills to preschoolers.

Covenant Child Care Center admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its admissions policies, educational policies or of any school provided programs.

I would like to personally invite you to consider Covenant Child Care Center for your child care,
preschool, kindergarten and after school care needs.

Sharon O'Brien, Director
I've been the director at Covenant Child Care Center since 1984, having earned my bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Arizona State University.  I have taught in both the New Jersey, and Arizona public school systems. I'm dedicated to ensuring that each child entrusted to us receives quality, personal care.

At CCCC, we pride ourselves on our stable, dedicated staff who work to provide a loving environment for our children and to promote Christian standards of honesty and responsibility.

Our philosophy here is to offer a warm, family-like atmosphere where each child's spirit is recognized and encouraged to blossom.
